According to estimates, there are around 153 million orphans worldwide. The plight of these children is heartbreaking. Many of them have suffered unimaginable hardships, losing one or both parents. They are alone in this world, mired in poverty. They are vulnerable.
Orphans in Nigeria are suffering, with no one to care for them. Lacking viable social programmes, there are few dangers lurking. Hunger and homelessness are a daily reality for orphans in Nigeria.
The children who come to our foundation are very often sick, injured and close to starving to death. They need our support and love. Above all, however, they need food.
