Zakat on Gold
Zakat should be paid on 2.5% of the value of the gold you own. If a gram of gold costs PLN 262.15, then if you own 50 grams of gold jewellery, you will owe Zakat of PLN 13,107.50 (50 grams x PLN 262.15). You can check the current price of gold here.

What is nisab?
Nisab is the minimum amount of wealth a Muslim must have in order to be eligible to pay Zakat. This amount is often referred to as the nisab threshold. Gold and silver are the two values used to calculate the nisab threshold. Nisab is the value of 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver.

Value of silver (612.36 grams) - approximately EUR 416.40
Value of gold (87.48 grams) - approximately EUR 5,298.66
